DISSENYAR PER PROJECTAR...

Bé, aquesta setmana hem començat la segona part de l'assignatura d'Alfabetització Digital. El tema del que tractarem és totalment diferent al què haviem fet fins ara, però no per això menys imprescindible. Continuarem utilitzant recursos digitals com ara programes educatius, xarxes socials, aplicacions per a fer treballs en grup i molts d'altres, però ens centrem bàsicament en la importància de la imatge digital.

Us heu parat a pensar mai que tot allò que projectem té un receptor? Un públic que li dóna un cop d'ull i, a partir d'aquí, segueix o no a la nostra font. És, doncs, importantissim tenir en compte el format dels nostres treballs o projectes: el disseny, la topografia, el color, les imatges, el títol, etc.  

Tot seguit passaré a analitzar el meu blog des d'un punt de vista formal, seguint les pautes i els consells de la senyora Maria Clàudia Cortes que ens presenta en la seva presentació. En primer lloc, com podeu veure, la plantilla és senzilla, no gens recargolada ni embarbussada, ja que considero que d'aquesta manera la informació queda més ben estructurada i clara, fet que facilita la seva lectura. A més, està acompanyada principalment per una tonalitat blavosa, color que transmet pau, llibertat, calma i profunditat. 

Seguint amb els colors, considero que és un blog dinàmic i despert, però no molt atapeït ni desmesurat en quant als colors; simplement un pèl juguetó. Els principals colors, blaus; i els alternatius, taronges i grocs (amb menys proporció). Ambdós últims considero que dónen un toc de creativitat i alegria al disseny, més visible, atractiu i comunicatiu. 

Pel que fa a la tipografia, he intentat buscar-ne una que fos clara, força gran i espaiosa, alhora que molt visual i fàcil de llegir amb el primer cop d'ull. 


Per últim, i no per això menys important, parlaré sobre el títol "GO FOR IT!". Us he de dir que, com la majoria d'estudiants que vam començar aquesta assignatura, al principi no sabíem massa com aniria el tema, què treballaríem ni en què consistiria el bloc, cosa que em va dificultar una mica l'elecció del títol. Tot i així, hi havia una cosa que tenia clara, i és que començava una nova etapa a la meva era digital, la qual amb esforç i dedicació aconseguiria tot allò que em demanessin. Va ser un: ¡A por ello!, i així ho vaig traduïr a l'anglès, ja que el blog estava escrit en aquesta llengua.

Fins aquí el meu breu anàlisi. Us animo a tots a que un dia o altre us pareu a pensar en aquesta qüestió de la imatge que projecteu. I, per a fer-ho, us deixo un  link d'un vídeo molt interessant que us esmenta tot això.

NATURAL TRIP TO THE CASTLE PARK

This is the last unit! Pay attention because it is about the environment, the nature and the near sorroundings, so it is quite different from staying in class. It is thought to be done in the fifth year of primary school. 

The methodology that will be used is the following one: seven groups of three students. Each group will have an ipad as the imprescindible tool to do the activity.

The unit consists in a day excursion where students will have to walk through the park according to some clues they will find. These clues will not be in a paper like the traditional model, on the contrary, they will be codified with QRs. So, what they will have to do is with the ipad, search what does the QR means on that activity and follow the instructins recommendated. 

Previously, it will be created a rute on the application called Wikilog.  With this application, teachers can also have control of the children, where are them, etc.

Meanwhile, all the assessment will be done with a well-known program for all of us that is Kahoot!

As you can see, we are talking about a increased reality, which means creating a virtual but also real reality. It's really really interesting.

MAKE UP A DIGITAL LEGEND...




Well, this is a unit about the Catalan Lenguage. I am really sorry but the links and references I will do will be in Catalan. However, you can translated and use the essencial idea and the resources used to create your own didactic unit. I am sure it will be worth!

The unit consists in three activities: 

The first part is called "we travell to the mediaval centuries". Here students will have to elaborate a big moral. Moreover, they will do online activities from this page: edu365 to reenforce the theory explained in class. This is a very interesting page to work with diferent kinds of subject, also English. 



Then, the second part consists in an online quiz with an application called Kahoot (already mentioned in other posts) to assess the key contents already worked in class.

At last, students will have to make up a digital legend (on the basis of the catalan legend of Sant Jordi) with the application Story Jumper. If you remember, this program was already used in another didactic unit called Geometrical Shapes, so that means it is a good and interesting program to use. 

And, to conclude, each group will have to tell this legend to the five-years-old children, because that way they improve their communicative skills.

As you can see, also this unit is full of digital tools that are used in class to work the contents of the unit. It is a way to implement the ICT in every single subject and part of our daily live.

EXPLORING CATALUNYA'S GEOGRAPHY


With eleven-years-old students (last year of primary) we are going to learn the elements of Catalunya's relief. This unit is about nature and geography.

The methodology consists in working in groups of six, which are going to work the catalan provinces. Then, in pairs, they will work much more accurately the monuments, cities and geographical accidents of each zone. 

All these activities will be done with the use of applications such as Power Point (they will have to create a digital map) but also the web called animaps (http://www.animaps.com), which is an extension of Google Maps that let us create maps with markers that move, images and text that pop on cue, and lines and shapes that change over time. When you send your Animap to friends it appears like a video - they can play, pause, slow and speed up the action!

On the other hand, all the students, alone at home, they will have to play some virtual games that will support the theoretical part of the unit. Finally, the final activity will consist in an online trivial. This game will work as the general assessment.


To conclude, the use of the ICT is relevant in this innovative and useful unit.
